Open Knowledge Denmark works on strengthening and expanding the open knowledge community in Denmark through event organising, outreach and social gatherings. The group has been active in the Open Knowledge Network since 2013.
Activities of the Danish Local Group comprise organizing local events, data sprints, meetups and workshops around themes focused on open government and open content. They also try to influence media debate by blogging and speaking in public at events around the country. The group is still relatively small but growing and is trying off different ways to engage in the existing communities around open data, open government and open knowledge in general.
