Michaela Rybičková is a QA engineer currently working on security software. From 2011 to 2016 she was a community coordinator at Otakar Motejl Fund, a Czech NGO which focuses on government transparency, open data and civic activism. She led a couple of projects, such as Prague Hacks or Opening Data Together. She is happy to help Czech open data community grow from a handful of dedicated geeks to a powerful movement. Michaela also coordinated the Czech edition of The Data Journalism Handbook.

Works as an National Open Data Coordinator at the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic. He aims at introducing Open Data into Czech state administration, governmental policies and strategies as well as legal implementation. Within the group of experts, he has created the national guidelines and standards for publication and catalogisation of Open Data in the Czech Republic. Before working at the government, he worked as Open Data Evangelist and advocate at Open Society Fund Prague where he was worked closely with the Czech state institutions to promote transparency and accountability through Open data. In 2014 and 2015 he was working as a Open Data Barometer researcher for Czech Republic, conducting research for the World Wide Web Foundation. He is an History graduate of Palacky University, Olomouc and he earned his master's degree in Euroculture from the University of Groningen.
