Oluseun believes that deepening the public discuss based on empirical facts is key to a better society. Being a firm adherent of open data and how it guarantees a transparency and initiates communities to action, he currently leads a civic startup in Nigeria named BudgIT. BudgIT, founded in 2011 during a technology bootcamp organized by Co-Creation Hub uses technologies of any form that appeal across every literacy span to make public data more accessible, transparent and understandable to Nigerians and great people of the world. BudgIT also provides infographics, visualisation and data comprehension support to citizens, civil society organisations and public institutions.
Nuela Ada Ononiwu is an experienced IT Consultant and passionate STEM advocate with over nine years of expertise in the IT and nonprofit sectors. Dedicated to advancing STEM education, digital literacy and STEM careers for young women, Nuela has a strong interest in open data and its potential to drive innovation and transparency. She is currently working with Technology for Inspiration Initiative "InspireIT," a non-governmental organization committed to empowering young women and youths in STEM. Nuela has a bachelor's degree in computer science and master's degree in information technology management from Anglia Ruskin University UK. Nuela continues to blend technology, advocacy, and education to create impactful, community-driven solutions.
